What did you do in the garden today?

The only saving grace I have in my garden this year is that we have about 2' of snow. It arrived before the cold snap, and will most likely stay put until April if current weather predictions hold true.
We only have about 3" of snow in our yard, and we didn't even have that until about a week ago. I'm a little worried about some of our perennials and other plants, because they haven't had much snow to insulate them from this frigid weather. Luckily, they at least have some wood chips, but I'd feel better if they had about a foot of snow in addition.

Want some of mine? I will have 10 - 15" of new stuff, "never been used" to offer up tomorrow.
Ha! Thanks, but no thanks. I'm sure Old Man Winter will realize soon enough that he has pretty much forgotten us in the snow department, and he'll drop a large amount of it on us to make up for lost time!

So, this weekend me and Hubs are planning to make a list of all the seeds we have purchased already (like addicts, we both secretly buy stashes of seeds - lol). We want to see if there's any other seeds we still need to order, and then we need to figure out when we need to start each kind of seed. I'm really excited to get going on next year's garden (well, I guess it's really THIS YEAR'S garden)!
