What did you do in the garden today?

I'll try to get a pic once it's done. Nothing tremendous, mind you - just a table with grow mats & trays, and a wooden structure holding grow lights. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of extra room in there. Then we'll have to figure out how to keep the cats out of it. What did you do about that, Cap?
The shelves that the plant trays are on are metal rack type shelves and difficult for the cats to climb. Hoping they leave my stuff alone.

I have a Dickey coat bought it this year great coat like it well just enough pockets
but black 2 of the outside cats they must think we were to have awful cold winter they are like twice their size in hair soft and matting so their I am tonight combing these poor kitties both little angles for me got Moe all done no more mats, Curly not quite all but worked on him 1/2 hour straight up around ears and mouth got the right side down around his mouth still need the left one and one of his chest but he was crying the last part I was pulling hard I let him go....

I found a mini metal garbage can with a lid that tips open when you press a pedal. I put the compost scraps in that.

not a bad idea BF figured we have a little spot we could put a real narrow shelf in the pantry closed door we use a empty butter tub right now

That's the kind of garbage can I want to get for the kitchen. We just have a cheap plastic one right now, so when I put anything in there that smells good to our dog, he tips it over and drags the spoils into Hubs' office (often while we're sleeping). Although it's a bit annoying, we actually get a kick out of it, as well. When he does it, we call him "Triple D" - short for "dumpster diving dog", lol.

I got so mad at one of my dogs for doing that once i actually picked her up and put her in the garbage can head first while yelling. I think she got the message, because she quit doing that. I had been cleaning up too much chewed tin foil etc.

Last time my dog got into the trash, she had a bowel obstruction that cost a very expensive vet visit: X-rays, SC bolus of 500 cc of IV fluid, and a week's worth of probiotics. She's 2 1/2 years old now, and we're just now leaving her out of the crate (after dog proofing the whole house) when we leave her alone during the day.
