What did you do in the garden today?

Started pepper seeds and they all germinated well, but now they are wilting and dying...:(
Don't know if it's too much water or not enough. I'm using some sort of Miracle Grow soil, used to using my own and having trouble gauging...:barnie

inside or outside are adding more fertilizer

no, no more fertilizer maybe just water lightly once a week may I ask how warm is the house ?

Okay, sounds like the water was way too much. See it's my mother and I's project and she got a little happy with the watering can. I had them on top of a large coal stove to heat the soil for germination. It was not too warm at all, to me it was perfect. They are placed in the colder part of my house (it's an old farm house--so it's kind of drafty and cool). Maybe 70 degrees.

Pulled out some bricks to make a new walkway, moved the last of the rocks and rearranged the coop yard for better maneuvering in there. Raked that yard today and stirred the litter in the coop. Moved some plants I'm training for more sun exposure so I can get them transplanted. Swept the patio and moved a couple bags of dirt to the backyard for planting next weekend.

On Sat, I planted my sweet potato to get my slips started. I also potted up my yellow pear tomato and tangerine dream pepper in bigger pots. I plan on putting those on the front porch to grow.

I got the ground broke up by the back porch. I'm going to plant my brandywine's here and my amish paste in the garden. I hope to save seeds from both for next year. I also put compost out around most of my fruit trees. My leaves on my fig trees are just coming out, but I already have little baby figs on my 2 older trees.

Today, DH & I put up my tomato trellis. I got the tomatoes, peppers and some herbs planted in this bed today. Also moved some garlic chives and flat leafed parsley over from my old herb bed.

jerry, love your new cabin. My grandfather built a small cabin years ago, now his great grand kids enjoy it in the summers to swin, sail and fish. Suggest putting in footing drains--bet you already thought of that.

Mulberries gettting big. Cant get to them with the deep snow but they need a little pruning. Little on utube that is reliable. Suggestions??
