What did you do in the garden today?

I wish my husband had that mental toughness. He gets a tummy ache and you'd think he was dying! Lol! Will lay in bed half a day for stomach cramps. Makes me so mad! I just want to yell, "Get up, ya p***!" I don't though, because he's quick to anger.
My husband as I Have heard other people say is the biggest baby when it comes to being sick. years ago I had an ovary removed due to endometriosis. The day I came home from the hospital he got the stomach flu. So guess who was taking care of two. Ha ha

I hope to get some planting done in the morning. It was to hot by the time I got this done today.

@dunnmom I put cinnamon in my quilt box to prevent ants from nesting in my beehive and it worked pretty darn well. So it's possible it may work in your garden, though I have heard that it must be dry... But I am not so sure. In a beehive one can't use any sort of serious repellents because bees and ants are so closely related. The cinnamon ended up doing the trick and the bees were content with a box of cinnamon above their heads.
You can also pour big pots of boiling water into their nests to try to flush them out and kill them without really harming the plants etc.

That’s a great idea. I know keeping cinnamon in the cracks near windows keeps the ants from coming in the house and your right it works!
