What did you do in the garden today?

Kinda central va. It’s nowhere and I’m in the middle of it. Love it too About an hour 1 1/2 SW of DC and and 1 hr NW of Richmond. They are trying to slowly creep together that’s why I hide in Partlow far from the main drag. But as far as va weather we always have had a saying “ if you don’t like the weather give it a minute it’ll change “. Screwy weather round here

Oklahoma uses the same saying. Oklahoma is sort of shaped like a bowl, and we're in the middle of the bottom. It's really flat and just above sea level.

My cousin says when she comes to visit it reminds her of when she lived in Oklahoma for a few years when she was younger. Always wanted to explore places west of me ... seem so beautiful there national and state parks out that way I’d love to see but somehow never make it past the blue ridge mountains. As much as I want to explore I get homesick for my homestead very easily

Got my walkway done yesterday, finally!

Going out to water, have a great day all!

Hey @Rachel Taylor If I was not in Washington we would be neighbors have always been one to stay way back born and raised a ranch kid 160 acres back then but love our tiny town 3/4 of acre just enough cannot be too stupid but tons of Chickens
Back off country road then down side dirt road made sure it would quiet for a long while. I grew up in town but extremely small town at the time but like everything and grew up so I headed further out. My sister who lives in the city laughs about driving through miles of corn tunnels to get to my hole in the woods. But loves the peace. 3/4 acre sounds like enough to do what you love. It would be for me except we were gifted goats for our wedding and I’ve been in love ever since. Sometimes I feel in need more land cause I need more goats in my life. Haha

Nice walkway! Also, I had no idea you could gender-reassign trees---COOL! :)

Got nothing done in the garden yesterday, though I did pick a pound of peas to go with the meatloaf and taters for dinner. And the meatloaf used my eggs, onions, thyme and parsley, too! My friends' grass-fed beef. I felt pretty good about that.
