What did you do in the garden today?

May have to invest in a little dehydrator I came up with the very first natural dehydrated dog Food... back in like 1993 when I sold it like 30 years later they killed it making it a kibble :rant but have jalapenos in my coat pocket need to get them out :duc

Yeah I was just reading about a dehydrator and was hoping there was a way to do it without it but doesn't look like it. I may have to invest in one to make better use of my chili peppers. Any recommendation on brand?

No had commercial ones built on site so you average I would look toward those with not the lowest cost nor the highest I go middle ground

Thanks Kinda not with it with some tricks was so busy in work life no time for this old
retired I can having a ball learning with all of you

My hubby (bless him) filled one dehydrator with 8 trays of grapes for raisins. If anyone out there has info on what to do with them to prevent mold, I would love to know.
I harvested my Red Bartlett and Harris Sweet pears today. So beautiful, this is the third harvest of pears and most have gone to canned pears, and most have already been eaten by my sons!!! I came home the other day to find 4 empty jars in the sink, two jars a piece just like that, down the old hatch!! They have loved these pears since they were tots but now they eat them like teenagers. Oh well, several more batches to come.
I also harvested the only two apples on my Red Gravenstein (very young tree)

and I have to say that they are, without doubt, the brightest red apples I have ever seen. This pic. does not do them justice, I was absolutely blown away by the color!
My Galas, Morning Mist Fujis, and several other apples are just coming on for harvest. :wee
