What did you do in the garden today?

 I really don’t know. My brother in law bought a pumpkin from a coworker and I saved some of the seeds. That was two years ago, the type has stayed the same though the size varies but they’re all deeply ribbed pear shaped and tall. That’s about all I know about them.
I did not recognize the pumpkin variety . Some of the best for pies are Dickinson , Cushaw , Golden Delicious and Boston marrow .

hey get old retired they wanted 50 for these local store cost us 10 cents of screws and they do not eat much

Hi everybody :frowWe've had some gorgeous weather this week and temps are supposed to hold steady in the low 70's next week.

The lemon tree, sage and hibiscus are blooming. I planted the oleanders today, mini pink on the ends, white in the middle. Watered most things and I realized that the willow acacia is taller than the house! That tree gets very little extra water from me but it grows like a weed and the chickens love to eat the leaves.

I moved 5 loads of rocks to the dog yard to keep the puppies from digging up the potato bush. We trimmed said potato bush and the bougainvillea.

We have an area against a west wall that has oleanders on the neighbors side so I really can't plant anything there. I've tried, no good so I'm going to fill it in with pavers. Maybe I'll put some pots there and grow things seasonally :idunno

We are limited physically on what to plant we have the space but lack being able to bend putting it in tires may have to do a large elevated for more space next year

Yes'm I know you use the tires for that reason. I was thinking about using some old cinder blocks and a board to make more space in the garden. If I use pots they should be about right for my husband, no bending for him either.
