What did you do in the garden today?

The elderberry cuttings. That’s a 5 gallon bucket.

Here you go Dan......I can't even find my garden
:gig

That's a lotta berries!
Still no snow here today. It did drop down to 40*F though. I went out and installed another roost bar in my new coop and removed the creep barrier between my new pullets and my adults. No fighting until roosting time, mostly they just hung out in two groups, which was fine.

More working picking/locating seeds. Gonna hafta go clean up my seed area soon and start seriously choosing locations for the garden. Some seeds go in as early as february!

:sick winds will have us at 20 below for the next couple of nights. I am not a fan. Stock still needs tended. I'm currently waiting on the dryer to finish so I can go out and trim paca nails. I still have NO IDEA how all my jeans ended up in one load. And I MUST get out this week and find a better pair of warmer ranch gloves that still have dexterity in them.

I also can't find a good supplier of honeyberries of decent size or quality. I'm going to have to see if my local nursery will order them in for me special. Four weeks until orchard pruning day!

Trimmed up the elderberry cuttings. I potted up 64 little cuttings and have about 37 I’ll just stick straight in the ground. (That’s what he said to do. :lau I’ll take his advice since he’s done it before. :P ) so hopefully I’ll have about a 100 elderberry plants come to life in the spring. :fl
