Those knee pads look awesome and I might want a pair for myself. :O How do they hold up to mud?

They are nylon material, so I think if they get dirty, wash them in water and dry. I have also use kneepads that are intended for peeps using skates. Those have a flexible front pad. Also those need to be put on from the bottom of the foot. The ones pictured, have Velcro straps and are EZ on and off.

I know you are doing a lot of the paver work as well as other ground work. ALL THAT REQUIRES WORKING ON THE KNEES. I use these when have extended kneeling work.

Look at things from a chickens point of view. There is something delicious there. Of course you will squeeze under to get to it.

I was in the mountains hunting for coyotes. I had on full camo, and I was sitting and waiting for coyotes to come in. The skunk walked up to me, and I assume it did not see me in my camo. Walking straight towards me, I began to panic. Then, it happened. I was sprayed.

Fortunately, in Idaho, skunks are classified as predatory unprotected. I got my revenge.

I probably won't do that again, though. It was an awful smell.

I got home, and I scrubbed myself in the garage with hydrogen peroxide mixed with baking soda. It neutralized the smell, then I took a shower, and scrubbed myself with tomato juice. It worked.
