Drop of rain or did bugs bite? I am confused

Oh we had more than a few drops of rain...all this moisture has brought on the bugs!
I don’t know what bit me. It felt hot like a match. Big welts...oh so attractive.

Good morning gardeners. Your rain showers made it to New England last night. Nothing much got accomplished outside yesterday other than picking some more radishes. I spent some time do a little cleaning inside and made butter. All the rain and warm temps have turned the yard into a lush green and overgrown jungle. I guess I'll be working on the mowing for the next couple of days. I missed the turkey parade yesterday morning, however they strolled by to say goodnight after dinner. Happy gardening.

Don’t think it was mosquitoes.
Put Caladryl (Benadryl lotion) on my bites much better this morning. The knots on my head (under my hair) are still huge (and sore) the ones inside my ears hurt the most.
We have a wedding in Las Vegas to go to next Friday.
Guess I’ll be keeping my face outta’ flowerbeds till then...could you image taking family photos???
We have a forecast of 80’s all week. No rain. Seems like our weather has finally taken a turn.

We have so far this May managed 4, just FOUR! fully dry days. I told you it was wet. Trying to keep these animals dry for shearing has been a challenge. I'll try to get before and after shots. They're good for a giggle.

You want to see naked alpacas? LOL. Oh I will SOOOOO be posting the before and afters. There's nothing under all the puff but stick figure critters. I know they cannot wait to get to the sprinklers to play in and then a good roll in their dust bath pits. Yes, in that order. But after shearing, I don't care!
