What did you do in the garden today?

What type of honey bee do you have? I'm thinking of ordering the Italian honey bee.
My bee buddy has Italians, which make more honey are are a more mellow bee.

I have Carniolan bees, less honey and more anger issues. Although after working with her bees and my bees, mine are more mellow than hers. LOL.

Italians are the more popular bee in the USA as people are after honey production. Honey is nice for me, don't get me wrong, but I'm more after pollination and survival skills.

Hey @Farmdog267 was it an old house ? It was started in 1930 but made bigger late 60's current was in 80's..
Going to use a birch 1 inch for counters may just sand a corner down use a light stain then lots of oil to season for may years to come counters here are from the 60's

No Not that old at all. Twin home built in 1979.

I haven't received any seed catalogs either. I feel like I'm being cheated! :lau
So far Burpee seeds, a Gardeners supply catalog and a Gurneys Seed catalog within the past 10 days or so. I'll be picking up the 2020 Rohrer seed catalog at the farm show next week. A few more still to come. If you follow the old farmers almanac on facebook, they have a kink to over 40 different seed catalogs.

Put up 5 pounds of vanilla creamed honey and 8oz of creamed cinnamon honey. It will be ready sometime next week. That's gardeny, right?

Bathroom is painted. New switches are installed. Still need to install the plug and vanity light, but DS is using his 3D printer and I can't turn off the power until he's done. So that will have to wait until tomorrow. Tomorrow I will install the flooring and toilet.
