I finally got the rest of the deer meat ground, thanks to the awesome electric meat grinder my daughter gave me for Christmas!!
The weather here was nice again. I burned a little more brush but some of it didn't want to cooperate on account of being too wet still.
Went to the feed store and picked up some flower seeds and cilantro seeds, chicken food, shavings and some things for the bee keeping adventure I am getting ready to get into.
I did find out from a BYC member is St. Louis that there is actually a bee keeping store about a half hour from me!! I will be calling them in the morning to see about ordering some bees for the Spring.

Hopefully, they still have some available.

I also contacted a former co-worker of my daughter's. She lives in my general area too and I know she has bee hives. She offered to come over and show me the ropes!!
I have a job interview on Friday. It's for a box making position at an aerosol factory not too far away. If I get the job it will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12 hour shifts.
I like that it is just 3 days out of 7 and is still full time, but I don't like the idea of 12 hour shifts. I'm not as young as I once was!

But I need some kind of extra income to pay for health insurance and I don't want to work 5 or more days out of 7. So, hopefully this will all work out just great.
