@Wee Farmer Sarah - I’m sorry to hear that your little SuzieQ died! It’s so hard to really tell what’s going on with a chicken, but she had improved! Well, keeping her in the shed is a good idea for now. We have bagged the few that have passed and placed them in the garbage -no great place to bury them here.

There are restrictions on what you can put in the garbage here. I will likely put a large frozen water bottle in with her to help keep her frozen. The shed is well ventilated so hopefully there won’t be too much of an aroma.

I build a bonfire and place my dead chicken on it then pile on more wood on it. It has worked well for me, but each person should do what is comfortable for them (and legal).
Today I went to my friends house and we worked on bead jewelry. I finished stringing and then crocheted a bracelet for a friend of mine.
