What did you do in the garden today?

@karenerwin -wow! Glad your husband is ok!! Good decision for getting much better eye protection.

@WthrLady - nice bathroom!!

Two of my raised beds might be taken over by two 4-H kids to do garden projects. We will see. They need to figure out if the project book is interesting to them. But with so many garden beds, I have a few to spare!

Good morning all. Thank you both very much for the garden shots @igorsMistress and @TropicalBabies. Somebody keeps shaking the snow globe, yesterday afternoon it was sunny then all of a sudden it was like a blizzard hit. Apparently there was lightning too that hit a tree in the next town over and took down some power lines with it. Crazy stuff. I had to go to the feed store yesterday to load up on supplies and I mentioned my dilemma about poor old Suzy Q chilling out in the potting shed. I asked what they did when they lost an animal in the middle of winter. Bury it in the compost pile! That's what this one farmer said he did. I have a "compost" pile that I don't ever intend to use for the garden so I can bury the poor dear there. Sounds like a better alternative than to keep her on ice until Spring. My goal for the rest of this week is to take an inventory of the seeds and planting containers I have on hand and then try working on how to arrange it all in my sunroom. So I think your weather is more weird than mine @WthrLady. We are having a cold blast right now (16F) then jumping to high 50's on Saturday and Sunday. I'll take it. At least it's been awhile since we were in the single digits. Stay warm and have a great day everyone.

No!!! Good deal, good match. You are so gifted i figured you just whipped it out, maybe even inspired your bath color. Lovely either way :love
The bath color was already set. I carried a swatch of it and the flooring in the car, wandered into BigLots on a whim and boom right there it was. Couldn't believe my luck. It's in the style of both the house and something I would have painted, for less then I could have bought my canvas! LOL.

And Thank you!

I'm such a big fan of the blues and think they really work in bathrooms for sure. (Says the lady with a blue int/ext home, blue curtains... blue in her open coop and a newly painted blue truck (my previous 3 trucks were blue too :rolleyes:) sticking with what works) Would like to have gone darker with a grey tint but we need to reflect the sun some. Your tapelines are fabulous and that blue makes your wood sing. :drool

Well, you girls are making me feel bad... We finished our little cottage 3 years ago and I have not finished painting...ahem, lots. I was so anxious to move in and then told self; self, I'll get to it... but have not. Keep sending me photos please and maybe I will get inspired and off my okole to finish up.
