What did you do in the garden today?

I was able to get a good amount done outside in the garden today. Peas and onions and carrot seeds planted. I need too transplant some of my cauliflower and broccoli seedlings as they started to fall over. I'm thinking if I transplant and bury of some the stem I can prop the seedlings up a bit and give the roots some additional space! They look good and have good leaves on them but they aren't ready for the garden quite yet.

I am enjoying all your posts and its making me crave the sun! More of the same for us today. Expecting snow and gathering/chopping wood from every pile we have. I hate to say it, but we are fortunate to still be getting wood from a tree that fell down after Christmas. Hubby goes down to the bottom of the property with chainsaw in tow then lugs it back up the hill with the wheel barrel. While he was doing that, I managed to pull some weeds out of pots that use to be filled with tomatoes and eggplants...sniff sniff...I am so done with this cold weather!!

I hope everyone is staying warm, safe and happy this chilly March evening!!!

Today was a big one for us. Worked on the duck coop and let the ducklings explore it for the first time! They got about 15 minutes out in the 55 degree sun and they LOVED it.

then I shored up our hillbilly patio with some more pavers, moved the wood pile, cleaned out the garage some (and made a free pile), and checked on the garden. I have radishes coming up!

Wow! We all know spring brings lots of hard work but my back hurts just reading how much you had to do today! 😁
