Hilda is a cross between Marans and Cream Legbar. They call it Marbar.

Martha is a bantam Orpington.

Nell is a Welsummer (Nelly the Welly).

Nancy is an Easter Egger.

There was a Cream Legbar in my original request but only male chicks hatched, so they suggested a Marbar.

I'm so glad I agreed. It'll be wonderful to have another black hen, she's a friendly little sweetheart, her crest is really something, and I'll be delighted if she lays a green egg! Not bad for a last minute ring-in.
