Those are bindweed. They come in two different types in Portland, both seed freely and both have terrible roots that break off in small bits and each bit will grow a new plant. It's in the same family as morning glory but is the scary evil cousin.
I have a dutch door in the interior door on the coop and storage area. I love it, I might get the run door changed to one too. And I am envious, I love the smells of stock being cooked. Do you roast vegetables for it too?
Morning gardeners, rained maybe half an inch last night so I'll be watering today. The okra in the greenhouse is doing fine, not sure how I'll make sure the bees can get to it for pollination though. I leave the door open all day so hopefully it'll be enough. Mixing flowers in the raised beds is a success, I saw a bumble bee in the salvia right next to the tomatoes.

And I'm glad now I bit the bullet and removed my sick tomatoes, those that are left all look vigorous and happy.

The borage that's in bloom is really bringing in the bees.

Not sure you can tell but there are 5 of them. We were hoping for more but they seem big and lively! Fern, our other female should be having her first little in the next week or so so we'll be buried in bunnies!
