What did you do in the garden today?

I picked a ton of zucchini and yellow squash for the third day in a row. It is such a bounty that I left some for the mail lady, hung sacks on all my neighbors doorknobs, chased down the trash truck and gave the drivers some and fed some to the goats pigs and chickens! Guess what's for dinner?! I don't even say hello when people stop by the house I just greet them with "Do you like summer squash?"

We give our hens the Thanksgiving turkey carcass. Gross and yet comical.
You don't worry about the bones either choking them or puncturing their stomachs or crops? I was going to just give them the bones but I chickened (heh) out.

Don't forget the UPS & FedEx drivers. We eat the zucchini fritters just about every other day. I've found a cream of zucchini soup recipe that I'm going to try too.

@NewBoots I give my chickens left over meat of all kinds. I just toss out whatever I have ( chicken, turkey, fish, beef...) and they go to town with it. I have never had a chicken eat or try to eat any of the bones. Never had one have any kind of trouble from cleaning the meat off bones.
I just hope to pull back 10 fingers when I toss them meat.
