Thanks, it’s coming along. I have heard we’re having a warmer than usual winter which means I’ll have to water it all down a few times. I’m hoping for rain anyway!

Well, I’m toast. The pile is not gone yet but I made a huge dent in it and that’s good enough. It’s getting warm as the lunch hour approaches and I have some errands to run so I swept up and came inside. I’m debating about a shower before I leave but might just go to the store and take it after. Igor is home from work and Hobby Lobby, going to get caught up with him and get to the store.

Still hazy here, but not as bad as it was, but we're spending minimal time outside so no gardening. The bad air bothers DP much more than me, she's been sneezing and has a stuffy head, junk in the air has always been her Waterloo. I made 6 lbs of fresh tomatoes into tomato soup and it's soooo good, we're having it with some grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch. Got a couple containers in the freezer and plenty for lunch too. Mixed up some Italian sausage and popped that into the freezer. I still need to handle the huckleberries and I need to convert the zucchini into cream of zuc soup base. They're still saying maybe rain on Tuesday and or Wednesday, keep your fingers crossed.

Man, people are such jerks. I might have just committed to three barred chickens left on the side of the road. Depends on where they are.

People are really awful. Someone probably thought they needed chickens without researching it & instead of rehoming dumped them...just sad. Good on you though!
