Oh and does anyone know if pineapple will ripen once picked? The pineapple that came in my grocery pick up looks mighty green to me, I'm wondering if letting it sit for a bit will help.

Not much to do in the garden today

I call this Composting Season. Its also a good time to install landscaping plants and plants that get started in the fall/winter like Garlic.

Most my spice plants are mostly perenial.. They live in pots in the garden in smaller pots have a garlic chives, onion chives, basil, oregeno, rosemary.
Tyme the list goes on, on.

That actually makes a great landscaping shrub, An advantage to people who are not allowed to grow food in the front yard by code. I just watched a video of a family that grew Okra in their front yard and said it was Hibiscus lol. I can actually grow what ever I want in my front yard and I would if the sunlight and soil conditions were perfect for it.

You are totally correct and I do have a lot I should be doing, readying the beds for fall being the top on the list. Feeling lazy today so we'll see which angel on my shoulder I listen to.

I plan on cleaning up and getting ready to plant my garlic. I have 15 pounds of garlic to get into the ground the next couple of weeks.

Made triple chocolate espresso scones today and took the dog to the vet for her annual meds. Took her for a doggie bath. Did ranch chores.

On the fringe of a harvest and smoke induced migraine all day.

Motivation is lacking for anything.
