I'm doing a cheap home depot soil test & it's a mess lol.

I left it outside but in a zip lock! and 2 of the colors of capsules got water damage, I guess. so purple and blue are a shot in the dark but...

Can I just say anxiety/panic attacks SUUUUUCK!

UGH. It must be my Roseaca flair that is infected that is sending my body into overdrive.
I was so bad this morning I actually called in and got into the doc. It was BAD. I was holding back the tears when she called back to make the appointment. She told me to come straight in and they'd work me in. I literally needed someone to tell me I wasn't about to drop dead. I felt like I was shaking like a cartoon, like my heart was ready to explode out of my chest and racing. But it wasn't. Insanity I tell you. And it's worse 'cause you cannot talk yourself out of it. You just spiral.

He gave me meds for the infection and we're hoping that's it. But dang.

Not doing anything but sitting here today. Even though it's heading for 56 degrees today. Here I sit. afraid to move.

Good afternoon gardeners. This is Friday eve for me. Didn’t get as much done Sunday as I’d hoped so a three day weekend will be a very good thing! Igor is also off Friday so we can finalize plans for the duck pool and shade structure, then begin work. I’ll be moving blocks and pulling out rebar tomorrow afternoon for sure. The five gallon grow bags are here so potatoes will be in this weekend. Our temps will drop back to the high 60s again next week but that should be fine. All I did outside today was give the ducks fresh water and peas. Have a great evening all.

Crazy big wind storm last night, lots of folks in town lost power here in town but we were lucky and are fine. Today is beautiful, no wind and lovely and sunny. I broke an egg this morning while I was pulling a few weeds so the ladies got it once it was cooked. Lost their little chickeny minds. They're laying more eggs too and just about everyone is done molting. The bunnies in the grow-out pen are having a great time jumping around in the sun. With all the bad weather we've had, and having to tarp the run, this is their first really warm and sunny day since we moved them away from their mom.

DP has ordered deer fencing to put around the birdfeeders to keep the 2 outside cats from catching any more of them. It should help the tiny snakes we get too. Too bad the posts didn't come today, it'd be the perfect day to get that done.

I saw my cockerel mount one of the pullets today. Her comb and wattles are more red than the other two. Her partial molt seems to be done, as well. I hope this is a sign of eggs in the near future...
