What did you do in the garden today?

I guess I'm stil in range for germination so we shall see. I know I used pretty early dates for planting and it's gotten colder lately here.

My garden isn't just the raised beds, nor the green house or even Mother earth herself.. It extends into a spare bedroom sometimes.. Somewhere along the lines of 150 cuttings.. Mostly fig 14 types, but also Elderberry, gojiberry, aronia berry, blackberry, and a few plum and grape.. IIRC, lol..

fig cuttings? can you please explain how and when you do this?

I cant get citrus to grow right to save my life, everything else grows, citrus, dies after a few years, so I just trade the neighbor eggs for oranges when his blooms like crazy...

Potato's, yep thanks for that, reminded me I need to get some out there for a may or june harvest hopefully

I have the same problem with non citrus trees (peach, apricot, plum). they last 3-5 years only. I have no idea why.

I have some large old peach trees with a mean case of brown rot.
But, in GA?! It’s the state tree or something, very beloved there -rotting peach trees aren’t allowed! When I lived in Atlanta for a year, way back when, there were like 50+streets /Ave/Blvd/roads named “Peachtree” in Atlanta alone. Before gps was there to help us transplants out. Try finding the “peachtree” street you want in Atlanta on a paper map...
