What did you do in the garden today?

we have a new orchard! and i need some tipps on keeping ot healthy
Become good friends with your local extension.
Spray, spray, spray.
Feed and mulch
Don't let young trees make fruit, roots are more important.
Stake the trees well for a couple of years, and then stake to allow for movement. THen remove stakes.
Learn the right way to prune and when.
Know the early signs of disease and treatments.
Make sure you have all your cross pollinators.
Water well and deeply.
Learn to swear at deer and rabbits.
Forgot. Make an orchard map and keep notes on each tree.

Just opened up the greenhouse. It was 85 and sultry. LOL.

I installed a wind catcher in the orchard. It's purdy.

Beans aren't up yet, but I tossed down some half fertilizer anyway. I need to get some nitrogen on the onions.
