My straightneck squash are going crazy. I'm definitely going to have a bumper crop. I am hand pollinating the ones in the hoop house with an electric toothbrush. Finally got my first male squash blossom. Hopefully some of today’s squash got pollinated.
I'll have some I can water from below, but others are going out direct. Like the corn.It rained a little here this morning, just long enough to drive me off the fishing dock.Came home and let the ladies out, I'll get the littles out after lunch once I'm outside to keep an eye on them. I need to get more beets started, I've found I love them pulled when still small and we can't get enough of the greens. I even add them to the hash I make out of leftover meat and leftover baked potatoes. I wish you guys with the extra rain could send some our way, this fire season looks to be a doozy.
@Elyrian1, I usually water my starting seeds from below when first starting them.
