Well, now I know where the name 'Greenbrier' came from....@TJAnonymous roundleaf greenbrier apparently.
This is really good advise for any gardener.Don't worry too much, just water a lot! Each year is good for some things and bad for others, so you are sure to get a good harvest of some plants.
Thanks for linking this, it's a marvelous document. I have so much garlic this year I'll probably try several of the methods in it.Just wondering if anyone has tried it. It seems very convenient & I think I'll have quite a bit of garlic so this sounds like it would last me till next years crop is ready. I would love to be garlic self sufficient.

Same here! We got about an inch of rain last night.The ground is actually wet for once! For weeks now every rain has just been a shower or quick downpour that dries up in minutes. It's nice to see the cracks in the lawn disappear and the garden soil looks fluffy, moist and expanded again. I will not have to water today.
They are now ex-patches and beetle, I assume. I hate those things!Found 2 more patches of eggs. Found 1 more beetle.
