I’m not sure what kind of peeler you have, bit the one I use has a couple of screws that allow me to adjust centering of the core and how far into the fruit the peeling part sinks.

What brand and model do you have? I can still return this one I think.

@NewBoots, the wing nuts are the adjustable feature for core and peel. For peeling potatoes, I remove the slicing disc which is part of the corer.

So today I watched a video about canning lids and he mentioned some old jars are worth something . So I have mostly old jars . Checked one I recently filled . It is a blue square 100 year anniversary Ball 1913 - 1915 . Must have been grandma Mabel's then Mom and now mine . Not worth much $ but nice to know .

Picked a bunch of tomatoes both with color and green. Making relish (or salsa, I can't decide) today with the green ones and the ripening ones are going in a bin with a banana for company and a dish towel over the top. Works pretty well.

Egyptian Walking Onion bed.

They filled in pretty well. I planted the first ones 3 years ago, and planted more last fall. Some have replanted themselves! The topsets get heavy, the stalk falls over, and they root where they land.

This bunch is one that I planted 3 years ago. I dug half of it up last summer (2020) and it refilled in. This is all from one of those little onions in the topset.

The brown stalks had topsets on them. The greens are all usable as green onions.

These are a few of the onion bulbs. Not very big, but there are a lot in one bunch. Lots of green onions, that's for sure. I save the neck in my "onion/garlic scrap bag" in the freezer for making bone broth.

Those are so cool! Since I prefer green onions over any other, those would be nice to have. Do you recall where your root stocks came from?
