What did you do in the garden today?

Beautiful! Interesting how the Wyandotte (is it a wyandotte?) has lacing that “disappears” at her chest area.
Yep! And her whole butt is white too! 😂 I don’t know if that’s normal for her breed but her feet are all black and her butt is all white.

I was outside with Max a few days ago and a very large red tailed hawk swooped down to check him out. I’ve heard coyotes in the woods early in the morning also. I worry about the local gang of wild turkeys. All the predators are hungry.
Oh yeah I’ve gotten 3 hawk attacks over the past couple of weeks, they live in the trees right above us.
 
In the garden...well, we had snow & it was heavy, making the nearby tree branches bend & many broke. I have a Magnolia tree near the coop & pens, so today I trimmed back that tree. The next time it snows, no heavy snowy branches will be leaning on their pen.
In spring, I will get out there with a ladder & shape it better. It looked good this past spring...dang that thing grew!
