What did you do in the garden today?

Amazon has some very nice and very affordable LEDs, simple to install and easy to use, small footprint with great light coverage.. no glass bulbs to break and not bulky at all.. I retired my old lights and this is my first time to use these.. I’m very happy so far.. I’ll look and see what brand and get back to you..
Awesome thank u so much!
I've ruined my kitchen table from the water leaking from some trays...so that's a separate expense lol?

Yeah this is my setup....DH not too happy! My brain doesn't function well due to fibro fog, chronic pain etc. So I don't always think stuff through unfortunately.

Hmm.. you are growing in a planter. They look good. Id bring them in- better protection than a cover.
It's a huge grow bag...way too heavy to move. We have more rain today but ill see if I can sneak a pic between storms.
Here they are fr9m my window...

Put down mass tray of tomato seeds yesterday. We'll see what comes up.
Results are in on planting two. Seed Saver tomato seeds are only germinating at 10-30%.
They and I have NO idea why. They say they batch test their seeds for germination rates before packing and shipping, so something must have happened after packing but before it got to me.
We'll see how the numbers go on the mass planting/transplant tray.
After that, I'll swap out the starter mix in case it's that, which I can't imagine. It's just coir and vermiculite/perlite. But it is a brand of coir I've never had before, so who knows.
I'm at wit's end trying to figure it out.
At least I've got plenty of time to catch up.

Coco Coir is loaded with salt, check the ingredients on that brand.. also, I hear some USPS processing centers use X-ray machines and that it will render seeds unviable..

Going to get down below freezing again... Grrrr... Other than some broccoli starts, I don't really have any starts outside yet. But my strawberries, blueberries, peach trees, and grapes are all flowering/sprouting. Would you cover them? I have a shower curtain I can put over the grapes... Not sure what to do about the peach trees.... 🙁
