Morning Gardeners .. Dry day at least this morning.

Nothing today. Got hit with the Rona…I’m not being a bad teacher online all day. I’m stuck home with a headache & dry cough. Hopefully I’ll feel ok in a day or two and get some work done outside.

Caught up on most of the posts. Think I missed some back round page 500 but not going looking.
Rhubarb is awesome. Well worth the space it takes. Found full size gallon potted plants last year, put in 4. Hoping for a bumper crop.
Hopefully my Potato patch will be tilled by time I get home. They need to go in the ground Asap. Still need to pick up a load of horse manure from family for it, but the truck is laid up right now. Bad bearings and then ordered the wrong part. Fun.

Back to work yesterday, starting to get some energy back. Still have a LOT of phlem and sinus drainage going on. It hit me like a major sinus cold. Most days it was like I was swimming and couldnt tell which way was up.

That’s how I feel too. Like it’s a sinus headache with phlegm. Hope you’re back to 100% soon!

So I went to the garden store to look & ended up with $90 on:

1 rosemary
1 lemon thyme
4 habanero
1 other hot chili, can't remember the name
1 bag of baked straw mulch
2 bottles of propane
1 watering can



& I found a baby squirrel on the pavement at the garden store. I should have stomped on it & put it out of it's misery, it's eyes aren't open so it's going to die anyway, but the guys put it in a box & brought it inside. I just couldn't let it bake on the pavement, it's hot out.

I should have bought some flowers for the deck pots, but I forgot. I wanted to look at their watering systems, I REALLY need to get mine in one of these years. I'm going to regret the procrastination if I have to have surgery. Or DH will anyway.

Let me ask y'all a question - for the people who use fish emulsion to feed with & don't have the means to put it in a system...do you use a sprayer at the end of the hose or do you water by hand with a can? I haven't been able to figure out the hose end sprayer, I'm thinking mine doesn't work well or I'm too stupid to use it. Could go either way.

I diluted in a watering can when I use it - or even just a very small watering can with narrow stream and follow with a wider pattern watering can of just water or a hose to water it in a little.
