What did you do in the garden today?

Gorgeous out this morning.
I cut some rosemary, lemon verbena, and a little tarragon to boost the plants and I'll put them in the dehydrator later.
MY the stable and deer flies are out in force. I'll spray the alpacas at lunch.
I should mow as we are having rain chances for the next week.
I have ONE Sheboygan tomato plant, and it's the only one that isn't transplanting well at all. Tomatoes all get tied up, pruned, and fed today too.

suggestions for keeping out the rain or for shade cloth?
Sorry - rain. I have the rabbit cages in the run on hooks in the back attached to 2x4s and u posts in front for added support. Thing is, i cant get a tarp behind them because of that. How permeable is shade cloth? Ive never used it before and dont want soaked bunnies.

Just recently caught the raccoon who killed my hen!

My shade cloth lets tons of water through, it wouldn't help in that situation. But I'm not sure all shade cloth are created equal. :idunno

Sprayed all the fruit trees, berries, and roses today with Bonide Fruit Tree spray. Looks like my cukes might be coming back from the blight... Yay! Started hand pollinating the zucchini too...

Poppies are starting to bloom.
