I haven't dug mine up yet but I can already tell they won't be very big. In fact I think I lost over half of what I planted last fall. I had two planters packed full. I probably have less than 10 plants left and they all look spindly and small.Welp, harvested my garlic. They didn't get very big *sigh*

Show they eye's ya thinkMy summer projects inside this summer are decoupage related. I have a chest I need to stain, then putting on some antique map tissue paper. First I’m painting the legs on these stools white with black seats and adding lips to the top. Not the greatest pic, but my kitchen is grey and white with black and white accessories so should match just fine. I also have some napkins with a small floral print. I might decoupage them onto veggie cans and hang them on a shelf in the kitchen. Haven’t decided for sure.

Oooooo, pics please!I am also hoping to get the wood cut for my garden hod. I made one for my daughter as a Christmas present and she loves it. I know I really need one because in the past I have had to make several trips to bring in the produce.
Southern Oregon coast has been cooler and wetter but most of the rest of the state has been hotter and wetter.I swear this summer is hotter than last summer... I've got nothing but 95+ on the ten-day forecast and half of it is over 100. *sigh*
Here I'd suspect cutworms, slugs or snails.Another sunflower sprout eaten
Would grubs eat sunflowers? They look like been eaten from the bottom.
Yeah, nigella (love in a mist). Beautiful stuff but reseeds like crazy! These are SUPPOSED to be Amazing Grey Poppies. They clearly aren't. Anyone recognize this flower? I'm going to have to reach out to Baker Creek and say something.
I started grinding my egg shells in a ninja blender with water when ever I have them and pour them on my tomato plants. I guess I was ignorant or lazy before the light came on. I have chickens and they lay a lot of eggs.
Everyday, in every way, I get better and better.
