I even don't have AC at home. rarely use it in my car (on/off every 5 minutes). I am fine with heat.

I guess it's all what you're used to.

Us Connecticuters are wusses, not too hot, not too cold. We get snow days for 4 inches so everyone up north laughs at us & we complain at 90 degrees so all the southerners mock us. We all have heat & ac in our houses, our cars & our work (for the most part). We are so lame.

My Centennial sweet potatoes, which I planted from slips just over 3 months ago, have grown like weeds and, per their days-to-harvest schedule (90 days) should have been ready to harvest as of last week. I just went out to dig up one plant to see what was under it and...nothing. Not even so much as a wide spot in a single root. This is a shot of just one section of the root system, but they all look exactly the same. I'm not a happy camper.

Also, this prayer plant has a line of holes in a couple if leaves. Any idea on that?
Im pretty confused on both. The plant though looks almost like bite marks?

That's the puzzling thing. All my my regular potatoes (100 row-feet of 6 different varieties) are producing just fine. They're in the very next row in exactly the same soil getting exactly the same irrigation.

Hmm, I did note some of the potatoes had tine white gnats? all around the roots. I didn't think much of it at the time. Did you have any of those?

Not that I could see.

I'm going out every other day to pick berries in what I have now named Raspberry Lane. Most of them made it into the freezer until I can decide what I want to do with them. It's mostly red raspberries, with some black raspberries (ripened first, not producing so much now), and some blackberries (just starting to ripen).
Sunday: 8.15 oz
Tuesday: 5.8 oz
Today: 14.85 oz (I had the right clothing to go waaay into the thicket of them)
