Something took a bite out of my 1 giant tomato I was going to make a BLT with this weekend. I'm so mad, I was looking forward to the first tomato of the year.

I hate it when they take bite out of nearly every ripe tomato . Eat a whole one and leave me some .

I can kinda relate.... Something (we all can guess who) decapitated the one decent sunflower head I had going and ate half of it.

I thought about it! But it's a bite & a big deep gash too that goes mostly all around the whole thing so I won't. If it was a little nibble I might!

Got 4 loaves of cucumber bread in the oven, 2 chocolate chip & 2 chocolate cream cheese swirl. A bit worried that pans are going to overflow, but it's low carb bread so they don't usually rise nearly as much. Got rid of quite a few cukes!

Not enjoying my new kitchen faucet. I went with a deep sink & the faucet came with it, it's too tall so it splatters water everywhere. I may have to get a new one, DH will kill me though as he had to contort himself in all sorts of ways to hook this one up. But he's already complained about it to so...

I picked 8 cucumbers and a few tomatoes earlier today.

I just heavily watered the plants I have. They're saying "abundant sunshine" today, which with the extreme UV index rating is code for the sun will scald you in minutes today. DS is sick, poor kid was miserable yesterday until we got some medicine in him, then he perked up a bit. Back of my throat is scratchy now though... *sigh* Haven't been sick since just before Thanksgiving so I suppose we're due. Just hoping that DD doesn't get it or only gets it really mild. She's too young for otc medications still. Y'all cross your fingers with me.
