What did you do in the garden today?

I got distracted this morning with additional chores related to the animals (cleaning algae sludge out of every water bowl) that I didn't get around to the garden yet. Seeds will have to wait until evening...

Anyone ever collected and sprouted wisteria seeds? My wisteria tree is putting out over a dozen seed pods (that I can reach). I thought about harvesting them and trying to sprout some for the garden area. Happy to send out the extras if anyone wants any? I'm assuming they shouldn't be collected until they are dry in the late fall. Anyone ever done this before?
Yes I. have done this . They have a very thick seed coat that needs nicked in order for moisture gets in to germinate . FYI layering the vine works to start new plants also .

I've had luck with cuttings but not wisteria seed.
I could just take a cutting but what's the fun in that? Lol... This stuff is currently trying to crawl its away across my lawn. It's a beautiful tree and smells heavenly but the blossoms don't last long at all. I really need to build a trellis for it to give it somewhere constructive to expand. It's taking over the dogwood next to it like a body snatcher....

Does anyone know if this cucumber is ready to pick? It's an English long. I was planning on waiting another day because it still looks kind of wrinkly, but I'm not sure.

It tasted amazing! I'm really happy it wasn't bitter, it's the first cucumber I ever harvested.

I fall asleep at the dentist, even during root canals.
======
Called in to doc's office, where I usually only get VM, and was going to say 'hey, queen of the sinus infections has one, need meds called in",and then have DH pick them up on the way from the city.
She actually picked up the phone, a HUMAN. She said since I am just post covid that doc wouldn't call in a script so I had to come in, but she had had a 1130 cancellation, could I make that? UM YA.
So got my ugly, spacey self there at 1110, sat in a room until 1240. Doc was there for less than 2 minutes, when? how? fever? pressure? blah blah, Sinus infection, script called in. Sigh. 1030-1pm and $1.50 worth of pills, and three gallons of gas. ONE annoyance, and this is my regular doc, is that he didn't give me my regular antibiotic for it. He gave me plain amox. which usually turns me inside out, gives me a rash, and makes me sick as a dog, IF it works at all. I'm hoping I'm far enough through this one that it will work.
I also got the feeling that sinus infections yeast, bacterial, and viral are all VERY common post covid. No real surprise there.

Currently feels like 109.

Didn't fall asleep...but didn't feel it, feel it now. The endontis is a really chill nice human so that helps. Especially after years of military dentists which are mostly not happy to see you. It was pretty nice to meet a person who liked his job but was also really gentle with his patients
