Nothing happening today in the garden as I have Mom duty! My dumb chicken is still broody. I let her out last night & she ran right to the nest. I have poor DH dunking her & checking on her water as it's at least a million degrees out there.
I have a cucumber that I'm going to need to pull, looks like the bugs are getting to it. & a pole bean that I think the heat killed. The spaghetti squash isn't looking spectacular either, not sure what's happening there but I've got 5 good squash on it so if it dies I'll call it a good first try & plant it again next year.
The 2nd round of yellow squash have flowers. The 2nd round of pole beans are starting to climb. Lots of tomatoes coming in & Mom & I are having BLTs for dinner.
I really want to start braiding garlic tomorrow. Maybe the first pull of onions are ready too. I'm sure the shallots aren't even close. (I want to make my sister a garlic/onion/shallot braid)
