No, have you? I'm mostly growing them just for scrubbies because I go through a lot of them. I use them to clean out feed bowls, water troughs, etc.Have you tried eating any of the small ones yet? I haven’t

How do you process them? Just dry or does it take more? No, have you? I'm mostly growing them just for scrubbies because I go through a lot of them. I use them to clean out feed bowls, water troughs, etc.
Fingers crossed for your grapes! That class sounds wonderful.Yesterday I drove up to my mom's place. She wanted me to go to a Master Gardeners class with her. I had no idea what the topic was going to be. They ended up doing a class on safe canning (gave everyone a free jar of canned green beans they made during class) and a presentation about soil health. The guy from the extension office that did the presentation on soil also grows grapes. After class, I pulled him aside and showed him the pictures of my Concords to get his opinion on what's going on with them. He thinks they might have a virus. He wants me to bring him about 5 leaves on Monday and some soil for testing. If they do have a virus, there is no cure. I will have to rip them out completely. Let's hope that's not the case.![]()
Typically they turn brown and dry out on their own. Then it's a simple matter to peel off the outside, shake out the seeds to keep for next year, and bleach/wash the scrubby. How do you process them? Just dry or does it take more?
How do you make them into noodles?& that's what I'm doing with summer squash right now, they're draining as we speak. But I did noodles instead of shredded this time as we eat them as pasta, did shredded yesterday. I should have enough to get thru winter also. Excited about that.
I love you Sueby! Sister from a different mister.I think I gave them to my sister, lol.
When I got the shots, I was 3 years old and they were in my abdomen.Yep, a whole set of shots over time, into your diaphram.
I have a spiralizer! Makes quick work of them & they're great as a pasta alternative. This is the one I have, got it like 8 years ago so would probably not buy the same one now, but it does work well. How do you make them into noodles?
