What did you do in the garden today?

Well this year has made my DH a little more "on board" with my chickens ( cheap eggs compared to store nasty ones) and guess who cares that I have a garden? . So his water catchment systems has driven him to be the garden master waterer ( using barrel water) :yesss: reporting to me about the things that are finally growing now that it's cooler. He brings me tomatoes like a kid with dandelion bouquet 💐. Oh and he even got to see the difference when he used his diluted pee to make plants go crazy. He watched a YT on it. It's kind of nice to see, I've been so busy in house canning free fruit that the plants would have suffered . So last night he picked the beet greens, fresh lettuce from garden! He's finally getting this stuff!:thumbsup. He didn't even die from eating beet greens ! Funny since my MIL never had a fresh vegetable in her fridge EVER! I'm sorry to see this year end since it has taken so long to see and produce but glad I didn't go overboard with garden and pretty much stayed with wicking buckets this year. I was too busy managing my chicken math additions! and working on keeping flock cooled off.
:hugs Im reminded about the victory gardens we citizens were asked to plant in tough times. Glad my mom taught me how to do all of this and I'm grateful for all the help I get from you all here.

It’s autumn over the farm. The tomato green house was turned into a winter plant green house. We have cauliflower, broccoli, different kinds of radish, Roman artichoke, hilde beans, and Swiss chard.
Here are a few pictures.
