What did you do in the garden today?

My brain is not working today, I have a massive migraine please tell me what is EC again?
EC or Electric conductivity. I use my EC meter to gauge how strong my hydroponic solution is. It goes up with the amount of fertilizer I put in the water and I get the same numbers when I put in the same amount. After it rains the fertilizer in my Kratky buckets get diluted and it is reflected on my EC meter. I can add fertilizer to bring the numbers back up to the original strength.

However, its not a big thing if I don't add any fertilizer if it rains, because my tomato plants drink about half a 5 gallon bucket of solution a week.

Greenhouse update: benches are built, mercury thermometer installed (using in addition to dial indoor/outdoor thermometer) and upcycled potting station is in.

DS enjoyed hanging out in the greenhouse while DW and I worked on it. He wanted to get into a picture since he's so proud of "his" work.

Wow that was fast..........
Feels like it's taking forever. I still need to get the exhaust fan and cold air vents installed. I'm debating now if I still want to install the automatic vent openers in the roof vents - the issue I have with them is most will open the vents around a temp of 60/70F (and that's when being fully adjusted). I would prefer they open around 80/85F, but that's just not an option I'm finding when looking at automatic openers. Also, I seem to have lost the ones I previously bought a few years ago when first planning a greenhouse so that's already a lost investment and I don't want to buy another set if I'm just going to rip them out.

Spent the day dressing the rug loom. Spent yesterday with a migraine (so I feel your pain)
I should go out tomorrow for a tad and trim up the grapevine. Hens spent the day out today, and will tomorrow. I'll have to hide some mealworms and seeds for them tomorrow. Sort of boring out there for them at the moment. Although they didn't complain.
