What did you do in the garden today?

Huh, I will remember that. Having a hot shower helped a lot actually.

I bet it's from your inner ear then. It's not uncommon for a clogged eustachian tube to cause severe vertigo. I had it so bad once that I literally fell over when I stood up from the bed, lol, I can laugh about it now but I had to crawl back. It's crazy how simple "dizziness" sounds until you experience it really bad. It's not like trying to catch your balance on a moving boat, it's more like trying to dodge the floor that keeps jumping at you. 😅
I really hope you feel better soon!

Rhubarb recipes??? Please share them with me. I would really like to take advantage of our 4 plants that are ready for me to start harvesting. Can I freeze it? Jam recipes or other methods for canning it? What about candied rhubarb - that sounds good! I could go out and get 30 stalks right now I'm sure! And probably another 30 in a few weeks then. Tell me what am I to do with it other than crunching on a stalk while sitting by the firepit - I love sour! Wish it was even more sour actually.

You can freeze it. I did.

I think it’s inner ear also and my doc does too. I ended up with eyes swollen almost shut and I was super congested, but those symptoms weren’t showing at first, only the Vertigo and symptoms associated with that on the first day. Thank goodness for Navage in conjunction with steroids and anti nausea meds!

If I opened my eyes my environment appeared to be moving even though my head and body were totally still. Super freaky.

Next week's low temps are getting a little bit better! They had a low of 33 in the mix, and now they're all 35s and 37s. WHEW! I know, they could still throw 33 back in, but I'm hoping not. From what I've read, my fruit blossoms will be ok at 35. I expect they flowers will be open or nearly so next week.

Unless they listen to momma. Who tells them, "Don't you dare bloom! You hear me!?"

First book has a good variety of Rhubarb recipes and info on picking and storage. Recipes are make and eat now, or for freezing, some canning info.

Second (Ball) also has good variety -but all for canning. I’ve made a couple and liked them.

Third, it’s a 32(?) page booklet. About $4 on Amazon and has many varied recipes.

Overall, more recipes than you would expect, beyond desserts.

Princess Yum Yum cherry tomato review............This tomato can stay on the vine for a long time and it takes a while for it to turn fully red. I can tell it also has a long shelf life. The ones in the picture haven't reached its peak yet, but I wanted to taste them at this color, so I picked them. At this stage, they have a fleshy texture and taste like a high quality firm grape tomato. Its not soft and gooey like sun gold or super sweet 100.
Next time, I will wait for the entire cluster to turn red before tasting a fully ripe one. It got sweeter and more fleshy than the reddish orange ones I tried earlier.

Laughing only because I've been there.
