Well, it's taken me 5 days of ridiculous work in insane heat, but the pantry is clean, reorganized, has new very bright lighting, and new canning shelving. I'm out of a lot of thing, as it is that time of year, and half the tomato products are my son's. I'm storing them.
I also still have several jars of dried/dehydrated herbs to label and get down there, so fill in the empty dry shelves in your imagination. The shelf unit is huge and is screwed to the over head joists it's not moving. LOL.
NO one wanted the old canning shelf, which blows my mind. People that picked up canning and preserving over the last 3 years have already quit. It seems it takes too much work. To me, it's just another season.
Rubbish guy had a good time letting his truck munch it. About broke my heart to see it destroyed. Not even craigslist free curb alert found it a home.

This tomato (“sugary”). Is mostly flowers, few leaves. Will be interesting to see how it produces. The little green ones are thin and elongated.
Yum! We can buy Tillamook ice cream and cheese here. We bought lots of their products when we lived in WA and OR. I’ve also toured their plant in Tillamook, OR. It’s been probably 20 years ago or more, so I’m sure it’s changed since then!Tillamook Ice Cream to cool off
I know!! I’ve even pinched off many flowers. Last year we had a different variety and it was similar- tons of flowers, it was surrounded by clouds of flowers all over the plant in huge masses I’d never seen before (but it also had more leaves than the variety this year), but all flowers did not produce fruit…. The variety this year is meant to produce small fruits, so curious the percent that will turn into fruit. That is crazy how many flowers it has! Can't wait to see what you get from it.
That's what I do, cut them into squares when I made them. Much easier.I agree with you. It does take a lot longer to make the dog treats using this baking system. It is also hard, in my opinion, to get the little bone shapes filled with the right amount of dough.
Maybe that’s why they were on clearance.
I usually just bake mine in a brownie pan and cut them into small squares. My normal choice for a recipe is a chicken liver one. The dogs love that one too!
thank you, thank you thank you! Now I know what I can get (powered stapler) my husband for his birthday! And the n he can build me more chicken coops, and then I can have more chickens, and then..... Lol. Anyway, didn't even know this existed and I'm sure he will love it.
Oh he's definitely Ryobi and cordless all the way. And this is something I know he doesn't have. You're welcome. Like I said, I am in the Ryobi line of tools, so the Ryobi 18v stapler was a no brainer for me. I'm sure other brands sell powered staplers as well. If your husband has a particular brand of tools, I'd look to see if they have a powered stapler in that line.
Another option to consider is pneumatic tools like @Smokerbill suggested. Pneumatic staplers can use even longer staples. If your husband mainly uses pneumatic tools, that might be an option to consider. Pneumatic tools are usually less expensive than cordless tools. Personally, I opt for the freedom of cordless tools when I can, but some people prefer to stay with pneumatic tools.
Whatever powered stapler you get for your husband, I hope you include a sketch up or his next chicken project for you!
