What did you do in the garden today?

Are you talking about the one with yellow or white flowers?

The yellow flowered one, I don't think we have it here in the mid Atlantic but I could be wrong. We have so many weeds with yellow flowers.

We've got a white flowered one but it's also called snake root.

yellow.

That would be cool!
DH said, we’ll just buy a goat! I know less about goats than chickens.

I know nothing about goats. that didn't stop me getting 4 of them, lol. (wanted 2, had a chance to get 3 for price of 2, the last one was a swap for a pair of chocolate muscovy ducks).

Boiling water kills pretty much anything. Add salt to it and stand back. I get bindii around the backyard and don't like to use poison. Boiling water has always worked. Anything growing in cracks out the front gets a blast as well. Those small steamers also work great at blasting weeds.
That is 1 thing I have not tried...sounds safer than me holding a lit fire torch. Lol
I will give it a try. I have one of those floor steamer gadgets, a Shark something...

The Shark crevice nozzle would be perfect for direct zapping of weeds. I'm sure that's similar to what this steam weeder uses. I might get one myself, it will save me lugging around a kettle of boiling water.

we usually don’t plant until close to June 1 so soil is good and warm and they don’t experience much chill, if at all. They will stay somewhat the same until it warms up A LOT. We planted ours a few days ago, which is a bit early for us. We have a few cooler nights coming, the lowest temp (as of now) is 47F at night.
I put my peppers (and tomatoes) in the ground, and we will have some cool nights in this coming week as well. I know that they'll sit there, staring at the sky for a few days/weeks before they get going again. So it goes...

I did not know that peppers like to be close to each other! I'm filing that bit of knowledge away for next year. I have them spaced out, the same as the tomatoes.

I weed eated my pathways. The cucumber, watermelon and beans are fighting me over where I want them to grow! 😂
Long beans are coming in and they surprised me!
2nd row of corn didn’t all come up . Needs weeding in bad way and I’ve hurt bad knee so may need to get dh involved (for him and chicks anyway 😂)
This is my cow panel tunnel- filling out nicely

as I live in a windy area I always plant 2 peppers next to each other then leave some space before planting the other 2. that way they support each other on a windy day.
