What did you do in the garden today?

I was told by worker at ACE that Sevin changed their formula- doesn’t work well anymore. She was right. That’s when I branched off to Dawn detergent, castile soap and neem oil
That is correct. Seven and round-up, not related, both changed their formulas, 4 years ago and last year, respectively.

Allergy appointment this morning. I told her I am miserable half the week, work outside, so I cannot avoid it. And have at least one sinus migraine that makes me useless about every 7-10 days and lasts 12-15 hours and I'm currently using the Navage 2-4 times a day just to keep things in control.
I did say that with all the rain and finally growth everywhere after 3 years of things not growing in drought, that my allergies are hitting harder this year than most, and that I don't think they are currently as BAD as they could be, or have been in normal growing years.

She still wasn't thrilled that I was still SO bad with 18 months of shots once a week, then she reviewed my chart and looked me dead in the eyes and said Do you KNOW HOW allergic you are to everything? I laughed and said, I am fairly aware yes. LOL

Since nothing else over the counter or prescribed has worked we are now adding in a new spray that has to pass my insurance approval before the company will fill it, so I know what I'm getting into with $$. GREAAAT.
LOL
So now it's shots and some weird new spray, at half dose, since I'm weird with meds too.
GREAAT

Feels like 103 so no gardening today.

I do know how bad yours are. I am so sorry you have the battle.

Thanks.
It is what it is.
What's weird is when I had chemo my allergies took a break. I mean I felt like crap but was able to breathe. Then a few years after chemo the allergies said "Honey, we're home! Did ya miss us?" They hit me hard, was on prednisone for 5 months then, just to breathe & get the hives under control. I asked the allergist about it. She said that chemo shuts down the entire immune system, puts you at death's door. So I guess on a positive note, if your allergies are kicking your butt, it means your immune system is working! šŸ˜† 🤣 šŸ˜‚ Yeah, funny huh...somehow the joke is on us right?
