This is what I was wondering... If it was even possible.

I am half tempted to just harvest the half yellow - half green one, cut it in half and smell it... I'd know for sure then.

My experience, in atascadero California, and my MIL in Paso....

Citrus is a potted tree on the patio. Hers are happy. Mine, one I tore out when my 2 year old stabbed himself with the thorns. The other two lived for 4 years then got spider mites and died.

My MIL.... Porch citrus for 7+ years and making just the right amount of fruit.

Picked some beans and tomato's and dug some carrots. Carrots are really nice this year, I did a double thinning this year and it seemed to really payoff with nice 10" straight carrots. Pumpkins are turning orange, some have been orange for a few weeks already which seems early to me.

I will share an opinion - mine. DW does not like fat, grease or oil. Avoids it at all costs. Had her gall bladder removed years ago. Happens often to people who avoid fat. I like fat. So, a water heater limes up from water sitting in it. Same thing happens in the gall bladder - stones. Minerals settle out when not used. I eat fat and use that gall to help digest fat.

There's a gallstone cure of a shot of olive oil, apparently still painful and sometimes they get stuck

I had mine removed a long time ago & I've always blamed it on the low fat diets that were so popular back in the 90s. My doc agreed.

I'll still pull something out of storage here and down will rain flax seeds. LIttle beasts.

About 4-5 weeks ago, I (re)planted 2 zucchini. One of them has a small zucchini growing now!

I knew it. Planted too soon. But..it won't be long before I can say, next month is October.
Well, in about a week it's September, so they probably be ready to set out on the porch for the soon to be..upcoming...Fall.
My Bog boys and Beef Steak tomatoes keep on giving.
