What did you do in the garden today?

I found two eggs leaking without any cracks and took them out. I was curious and tried to scratch off the dried substance and the egg exploded in my face. It was a horrible experience. I was thinking these eggs were not going to hatch, but I may still have a chance...............They were all blacked out when I last checked them. I have 5 left out of 11.

I managed to keep one seed type Clancy potato plant alive and saved some seeds from it. I dried some small bulbs off this plant and opened one up today and found 4 large seeds. These seeds were twice as large as the coated ones I bought. I planted the 4 seeds this morning to see if it will grow.
Only 3 plants sprouted from the entire pack of 12 that I bought, and it took about 2 months.
I just found out that Clancy potatoes are indeterminate and can be towered up.

Me too. Our state is drying up. This wind is crazy! Tomorrow is worse!!!

Didn't get in my garden yesterday or today, but I take care of my mom and planted, weeded and all the things with her in her garden! One day when my daughter is my age and the Lord willing I'm able to still garden, I would love for her to come help me.

We're awaiting severe storms in our area. Possibility of high winds (50-70+ mph), large hail (1-2"), even a tornado.

I weeded a bit and picked some asparagus. I found asparagus beetles. I thought they were early last year... I'm pretty sure they weren't THIS early!
