I like the taste of mayonnaise, but I don't use it on my salad. I prefer olive oil, garlic salt, and vinegar or lemon juice on my salad. The only time I cook my lettuce is when I use it in my instant saimin.I have a phobia of mayonnaise. This sandwich is very scary. I would cook the lettuce with lemon juice, onions, Baharat/Sumac, salt, and tons of olive oil. Then you serve it with goat cheese, like Labane or yogurt.
I wouldn't use that much lettuce on a ham sandwich. The 8 folded lettuce is for makeshift vegans, since the mayonnaise would throw off their psychological theme. A thick slice of ham would make it complete.![]()
