Yes, and yes. Although I will say that now having backyard eggs the thought of hard boiling them has a bit of an ick element to it for me…..meat spots, blood spots, and fertile. My recipe is actually for pickled eggs and beets or we always called them RedBeet Eggs.Does anyone do pickled eggs? Any recipes to share? DH wants some...
Dagger moth? So, I’m picking these blueberries and I get stung by this tiny tiny caterpillar, I think it was a caterpillar. Anyway, this thing couldn’t have been more 1/4” long and was sitting on the edge of my collecting bowl. Very small, with yellow hair and what appeared to be red spines or hairs at front and back. Little prick stung me and it felt like a mild bee sting. Didn’t get a photo…..wasn’t prepared to document anything….critter dispatched off of the edge of the bowl quickly and with certainty. Any thoughts on what it may have been?
