What did you do in the garden today?

It'll get hot today for around here, over 90, so I gave the garden a good deep watering. I was craving something fresh from the garden so I picked a handful of cabbage sprouts from the last cabbage stump, simmering with some pork now.

Well, we got thunder but not a drop of rain...

On a side note, I found a hidden nest earlier today. Had 2 dozen eggs in it. Had to throw them all in the compost since I didn't know how long they had been there. Also, they would have been in the baking sun in the afternoons. So yeah... Not taking a chance on those...

I know a lot of people use them for kitchen sponges and you can also eat them when they are young before the sponginess starts developing
