What did you do in the garden today?

What breed are they?
My old hens are F2 Cornish x crossed with an American Breese Rooster and the chicks are from a vendor on ebay claiming them to be Isa Brown, but I don't think they can legally say that. The roosters supposed to be white sex-linked, but one of the brown chicks has saddles and started crowing.

I'm mostly getting Tomato Hornworms.

I'm about ready to nuc them. What has worked for you all?

Like if they'd just eat one tomato they could live but they have to ruin every single one on each plant then top it before I'm ready. These jerks must die! I have never had them so bad, my old place had the wasps that killed them. I miss those wasps!

I hate using the "hard" stuff but they are killing off my whole crop. I pick at least 7 a day, none are small. Jerks!

Wow, I must have passed this picture a few times and I just realize it's a big worm. I originally thought it was a folded leaf.

Use BT on them. It is organic.

Note to self - plant more than 3 okra plants
😑
I was giving bags of okra away this time last year and the people are expecting the same amount- where’s the okra, they say!

Ran outside to pick raspberries and that's about it! So hot, so humid, so much sweat.

In other news, Sprout, our splash silkie started crowing... loudly. We can't have roosters so he is being claimed by the same person who took our last two roosters. He originally got them to keep at his house for his grandkids... but now the grandkids are keeping them at their house with harnesses and the whole bit. Hilarious. I thought for sure those roosters were going to his freezer camp but they are beloved rooster pets. Can't beat that.
