My zucchini seedlings were developing flower buds for some reason. I just removed them

I’m honestly like 50/50 if I should do itI know this is probably a hypothetical but I’ll poke at it anyway, since I’ve been fantasizing about what I’ll grow next year myself.![]()
They are peppers from Experimental Farm Network and as far as I can tell it is either there or nowhere for the ones I’m looking at. I believe they all have mostly stabilized genetics so I should be able to save seeds. I haven’t really seen EFN have sales and I’ve been watching them for a while so Im not sure if they even have them. Waiting a few months probably won’t hurt so I will probably wait to see if they do have any sales now that I think about it. Not like I am growing peppers in the middle of winter anyway
- Have you checked other (reputable, reliable) sources to see if you can get the same varieties for a better price?
- Can you wait for a sale?
- Once you’ve grown them can you save seeds for yourself so you don’t have to shell out for them twice?
I know seedless watermelon seeds can be pricey.
From what I remember they hybridize 2 watermelons with different chromosome countsI know they sell seedless watermelon seeds just cannot figure out how they get them.

I think you’re right. A 2 chromosome plants crossed with a 4 chromosome plants makes a 3 chromosome and sterile plant. But then again I’m not a watermelonologist, so there’s that. From what I remember they hybridize 2 watermelons with different chromosome counts
Yeah, it can’t be that tasty or healthy to warrant going over and beyond just to make it edible. The Lords provided plenty of other things to eat. When I looked up the pokeweed, it said more or less you have to boil the h@#$ out of it to eat it. I'm gonna just pass on that.
@TJAnonymous may want to comment on this.My thumb looks so weird in that last picture.
Wonder how you could accomplish this at home.I saw this sweet potato snack video on YouTube and found it on amazon. I just placed an order out of curiosity.
