I was searching amazon for 18v replacement batteries for my old Makita cordless drills, and they were in the 70-dollar range, then I did a search on cordless drills and found they make them better and twice as cheap as before, so I got one that comes with 2 x 20V batteries and charger, plus other things for $31 with free shipping. The world is changing..........

But are they Makita? Contractor grade - built to last - those and DeWalt.

Heavy rain and possible flooding on the way for much of New South Wales​

Rain-weary residents across New South Wales are being warned to prepare for more wet weather with a complex system expected to hit the state from today.

The system is predicted to bring heavy rain as far south as Jervis Bay up to the Queensland border.

The heaviest falls are due Thursday morning, with isolated showers in some areas potentially reaching up to 120 millimetres.

The Bureau of Meteorology said the exact location of the system was currently hard to predict.

However, minor to moderate flooding is possible for the Mid North Coast, Northern Rivers, Northern Tablelands, North-West Slopes and Plains, parts of the Hunter and parts of Greater Sydney.

Many of the areas identified at risk of flooding have been hit hard with heavy rainfall over recent months.

SES Deputy Commissioner Debbie Platz said communities could see flooding as soon as tonight.

"Depending on where this rain falls and how much of it falls, the flooding from this weather system is likely to commence overnight and tomorrow," she said.

"We know that the community is tired, and our volunteers are tired."

Believe you me honey I would happily take it . It's so disgusting living in the state of California. I really wish my mom would have just stayed in North Carolina to raise me. I would happily take the hurricanes and humidity versus the heat in California.

A local pest control mob recommended using lemons for ants. Simply cut up lemon wedges and place them wherever you see ants coming in. It really has worked well for me, especially with all the rain here - ants are looking for somewhere high and dry.

Does this lemon treatment kill the colony or merely keep the ants away from the area where the lemon is placed?

I use white original beef bone broth concentrates daily and decided to try some dehydrated beef cubes from amazon with my Korean style beef bone instant soup. Note: This only works with the original concentrate, the garlic flavor one is nasty.

I am consuming beef bone broth for its collagen together with collagen supplements daily. I wish I started up taking collagen years ago. I also bought dehydrated cans of mushroom, garlic, onion, and green peas for convenience. Fresh onions and garlic decompose fast in my environment. Anyway, I am getting ready for the Zombie invasion.

Just started weeding the garden at the rental after doing the end of tenancy paperwork.
Don't these young people know you pull weeds in gardens? You do not run over the garden with a lawn mower to weed.
Ah well - lot more to do there this weekend - replanting the gardens.

I’m very happy I succession planted tomatoes. Disease has really been slowing my 2 biggest tomatoes down but now my others are just starting to ripen.
